︎ Motion Design 


To celebrate World Pride 2023, Calvin Klein collaborated with First Nations artist Jake Simon to create a capsule of Pride merchandise. Jake’s art, inspired by the nations of the Aboriginal people, was animated to be lively and exuberant, celebrating the spirit of Pride Month. Work was displayed in digital formats and storefronts.

	OKAY WAIT, WHAT’S THE STRATEGY?
The strategy landed on “namesake”. A visual world where their name would be clear and lead the direction of their brand. Leading with the design of their new logo, the visual identity was built on confidence, sophistication, and cleverness. Motion design was used to animate networks and digital intelligence layers that are used in their software, showing the layers that make 100-year-old systems operate like they’re brand new.
